The more specific you get, the easier every targeting decision becomes later.

Voice: how you sound everywhere. Your voice is what makes a fan recognize you across a press quote, an Instagram caption, and an ad they scroll past. Write down a few words that describe how you talk, and a few that describe how you don't. That consistency is what makes scattered content start to feel like one artist.

Once it exists, everything downstream gets sharper. Your PR has angles that reinforce each other instead of one-off blurbs. Your playlist targeting hits the people in your audience description. Your social sounds like you. Your ads reach the audience you actually defined instead of a guess.
